RosaCities is James' new venture. It is essentially a gigantic advertisement for RosaSecta.

Everywhere you look, there is a link to a page on RosaSecta, be it someone's profile, the "Click here to go to RosaSecta" links, and the like. In fact, you use 1 account for both, so it is more convenient, all probably some devilish idea of his.

On RosaCities, you make a city. Each plot of land costs $200,000, but James has so generously given you your first plot free of charge. Your plot is a 6x6 square, on which you can build things. Small things like trees, for example, take up 1 square, but stores take up a 2x1 rectangle (no you cannot rotate it) and buildings (apartments, condos, skyscrapers) take up a 2x2 square. Each costs a different amount, and if you decide to change your city's layout, you can destroy something you've built for a nominal fee.

When people visit your city, you will get a certain amount of money, based on what you have build on your land. Different things give you different amounts. With small amounts of money, it is best to build "crops", as Alan has found out (Alan's city consists solely of crops). The more money per visit, the more you can build, the more money you get per visit, the more you can build... you get the idea.

Eventually, when you have enough money, you can get a second plot of land (like James) and bore yourself to death yet again.
